A Tudor Kitchen: History and Recreation
Thursday, November 15 2007, 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Agecroft Hall will soon be opening a recreated kitchen, so visitors can enjoy the sights and smells of cooking during theTudor Era. Join us for a slide lecture on the history of Tudor kitchens including those in the royal palaces and the more humble abodes. Deborah de Arechaga, Agecroft Hall’s Curator of Collections, will be discussing the recreation of a late Tudor kitchen at Agecroft Hall in terms of the physical lay-out and the appropriate reproduction furniture and period utensils. $12 per person; $8 students.
