Storytime at Agecroft: Even More Legendary Heroes and Heroines of the British Isles
Saturday, November 19 2011, 10:30am - 11:30am
We couldn't fit all the stories into one morning.  Storyteller Pamela Bomboy returns with more traditional heroes and heroines to fire the imagination.  Hear how St. George, the patron saint of England, defeated the Dragon and set a town free.  Meet Brave Margaret who fights the Giant and proves that girls can fight monsters, too.
The storytime includes a craft activity.  For all ages, but geared to 6-10.
Fee: $4 per person; children must be accompanied by an adult.

History's Opinion Poll

We'd like your opinion on the past queens of Britain.
Excluding the present monarch, which of the five queens of England has had the greatest influence on history?
