“Sorry, Most Sorry”: An Adaptation of “The Winter’s Tale” for Young Audiences

  • Agecroft Hall & Gardens 4305 Sulgrave Road Richmond, VA, 23221 United States (map)

Sorry, Most Sorry invites you to step into a world where a single act of jealousy sets an entire kingdom adrift, and only a brave heart can bring it back home.

This lively, 30-minute adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale follows Perdita and Millie, two sisters with a box of fairy gold and a mission to mend the past. Along the way, they face tricksters, towering forests, and the simple truth that saying “I’m sorry” can be the most magical spell of all.

Filled with laughter, adventure, and the kind of moments that spark big conversations long after the show ends. This show welcomes everyone: families, classrooms, and anyone curious about Shakespeare.

A unique, one-of-a-kind performance designed with young audiences in mind. Recommended for ages 3 and up (and the young at heart). This special event is produced by the American Shakespeare Center.

Written and adapted by Devlin Ford

Tickets are $15 per person. Children 6 and under are free!

Please note: In the event of inclement weather or other conditions that would reasonably compromise safety or performance quality, the event will be postponed to Sunday, June 14th, and all tickets will automatically transfer.
