About The Event
Food or medicine? In a 17th century country house they were often the same thing. The Bellycheer: Dining in England 1580-1640 tour is a celebration of food and dining. Listen to a lively telling of uses of certain everyday foods, food preparation, manners, table etiquette, and customs on annual feast days. After the tour, guided by Tracy Weldon, enjoy refreshments and take home a tasty treat.
