Join us for a stroll to learn about Agecroft Hall's neighborhood!
Explore the Windsor Farms neighborhood with architectural historian Chris Novelli on this tour highlighting the history and architecture of Richmond’s first comprehensively-planned community.
Windsor Farms was formed during the mid-1920s under the vision of T.C. Williams, Jr., Agecroft’s owner, as a community inspired by English country villages with the amenities of modern city living. Borrowing details from the Tudor and Colonial eras, some residents worked with well-known 20th-century architects like William Lawrence Bottomley to build their homes.
Learn about the architects, building styles, and stories that shaped this community while walking along the neighborhood's tree-lined streets.
In the event of inclement weather, the tour will be cancelled. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
Tickets: $10 per person
