Special Focus Tour: Garden Walk History Tour (5pm)

Take this 45-minute guided outdoor tour to learn about the legacy of our formal gardens. Learn about Tudor monarch Henry VIII’s gardening passion, Renaissance gardens, historic harvest festivals, and 20th century “Virginia Garden” design. What do they all have in common? Each is part of the heritage of the gardens at Agecroft Hall.

Stay after the guided tour to explore the grounds on your own. Don’t forget comfortable shoes. This tour requires walking on grass, gravel paths, and stone walkways. The route has several stair steps.
