Let Spring Begin: Virtual Education Day

Spring has sprung! This month, we will be taking a look at what would  happen at Agecroft when the snow started to melt.  Spring was the time  when the countryside came back to life.  At Agecroft Hall,  the Daunstesey family, the servants and the tenants would have  been preparing for a busy time of year.  We’ll look at the agricultural  activities and chores that would have taken place at the manor house.   And we won’t just talk about work: we’ll also look some of the holidays  and festivals that come this time of year.  This is a virtual event, and  we will be posting throughout the day.
