About The Event
In a world where men were considered legally, morally, and spiritually superior to women, the greatest battle for power was waged between two women: Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. In this exciting virtual lecture, Carol Ann Lloyd will be our guide through the world of these two powerful leaders.
Both women inherited a throne. Both were challenged over their gender and religion. Both were descendants of Henry VII of England, coming into the world as baby girls when their fathers were desperate for sons. Both sought power. Ultimately, they could not both succeed.
Join us virtually for the triumphs and tragedies of the Queen of Scots and the Queen of England as they struggle to secure their places in history.
