About The Event
Explore our collection of portraits through the designs of jewelry and hats worn in English royal and aristocratic social circles during the Tudor and Stuart eras (1485-1711). What can we learn about the subjects of these paintings who are posing in 16th-century selfies? Join Tour Guide Terry Jones for a a brief presentation followed by a guided tour with a detailed view of selected portraits, including our new double portrait.
