About The Event
There were dangers everywhere in Tudor England. People turned to wise women and healers instead of trained doctors. Discover the magical creatures that dwell at Agecroft Hall and create a healing potion from John Gerard’s Herball for protection. Learn how a birdcage, a scent flask, and coconut cup were used in the 16th century.
Special focus tour Wizards, Magic, & Potions highlights items in our collection that are revealed in modern popular literature and movies. Come dressed as your favorite wizard, witch, or movie character. This tour is for all ages. Participants must be able to climb one flight of stairs.
