About The Event
Bellycheer! Feasting in England 1580-1640 is a guided tour celebrating food and dining.
Is food medicine? In a 17th century country house, food and medicine were often the same thing. Listen to a lively telling of uses of everyday foods, food preparation, historic recipes, rare spices, table etiquette, and customs on England’s annual feast days.
