Special Focus Tour: Dining with Shakespeare

What was dining like in Elizabethan England? Many foods and their effects on people were mentioned in William Shakespeare’s plays. What are medlars and lamb’s wool used for? A brief talk is followed by a guided tour through seasonal displays in  Agecroft Hall’s Great Hall, Dining Parlor and Tudor Kitchen. Take home period recipes and a sweet treat.

Garden admission is included in the tour ticket. Arrive early to see the Summer blooms.
