Members of the Scottish House of Stuart, which ascended to the throne of England at the end of the Tudor Dynasty, are frequently depicted wearing lavish dress. With their expanded kingdom of England, Ireland, and Scotland, these clothes conveyed an important message: the Stuarts had "arrived." Join tour guide Terry Jones for a guided tour that explores the fashion of Stuart elites through a look at some of the 17th-century portraits adorning the walls of Agecroft Hall.
