The arrival of the Tudor Dynasty, whose monarchs ruled from 1485-1603, ushered in new families, new fortunes, and new sumptuary laws (strict rules limiting what people could buy) surrounding personal dress. Join tour guide Terry Jones for a guided tour exploring the fashion of Tudor elites through a look at some of the 16th-century portraits adorning the walls of Agecroft Hall.
The tour "Dressed for Success" takes place on both floors of the museum. Please note that we do not have an elevator to access the second floor.
