About The Event

Women and men experienced everyday life in Tudor and Stuart England differently. Early modern conceptions of gender roles deeply affected women's chores, familial duties, child birth, status within their home and in the world beyond. Examine the selected artifacts of Agecroft Hall through the perspective of the women who may have lived here in the 16th and 17th centuries.

This tour is intended for mature audiences and is not recommended for children age 12 and under.

Tickets are $10.00 per person.
