Virago Alley brings history to life on the stunning grounds of Agecroft Hall & Gardens on August 1st and 2nd.

Warriors in Bloom is renaissance faire style event celebrating bold figures throughout the ages who dared to defy conventions and changed history in the process.

Virago Alley seeks to reclaim the word “virago”—once used to scorn women of strength—to invite others to feel empowered in spite of the expectations that society has placed on them. This event is not just a tribute, but a declaration of identity to honor viragos past and inspire those yet to come.

This immersive event spotlights historical figures through a mix of performances, storytelling, crafting activities, and an open-air artisan market. Enjoy over 60 local vendors, historic combat, interactive quests, guild workshops and demonstrations, and a variety of family-friendly activities in a setting that perfectly blends past and present.

Standard rates for this special event are as follows. (Please note that tickets, which are available directly from Virago Alley, are non-refundable. Saturday and Sunday tickets must be purchased separately.)
