You've Been Schooled! Kids and Learning in Tudor Times

Have you ever wondered how Shakespeare learned to read and write? Or what Queen Elizabeth studied to prepare her for the throne? As a unique school year gets underway, we’re taking a look back at how children were educated in Tudor times. Join us for our virtual event where we’ll discuss the different types of schools that existed, look at who got educated and what they were taught, and see some items from our collections that helped children learn.   

This will be a free virtual event with historical information and fun activities!
