Yuletides at Agecroft: Christmas Open House

This holiday season at Agecroft Hall, be transported back in time to 17th-century England, 19th-century London, and 20th-Century Richmond, Virginia as you experience the Christmas traditions of each era. See our beautiful gardens and museum adorned in festive holiday splendor. Enjoy family-friendly crafts, simmering cider, music, and a variety of lively entertainment – including a visit from Father Christmas himself!

As you wander the gardens and courtyards, you'll meet the residents of Agecroft Hall during the 1600s, "A Christmas Carol" author Charles Dickens and his cast of characters, soldiers training for World War II, musicians, and many others! Then warm up with a self-guided tour through the museum and enjoy all of the decorations from the 1600s to the 1940s. Be sure to treat yourself and loved ones to a quick stroll through our Sweets Shop and Gift Shop – the perfect chance to enjoy locally-crafted treats and tackle your gift list!

This year, we’re fortunate to have Eddie Rose Coffee and Face Painting with KJ Hawk with us at this event, and other vendors may be added.

Whether you have visited us throughout the year or are making plans to visit Agecroft for the first time, this event is not to be missed. We can't wait to see you there!

Gates open at 12:00pm and activities run from 12:15pm to 5:00pm.
