About The Event

UPDATE - SOLD OUT!

Due to the popularity of our first Tea Time Tales event, we have added a second date!

As winter settles in, warm up at Agecroft with a cup of tea and tales of English Country Houses and the people who built them. Agecroft's Executive Director, Anne Kenny-Urban, will take you on a journey through the English countryside examining the lesser-known quirks, follies, and extravagances of famous estates. This lecture covers everything from famous female-led building projects to overwhelming displays of taxidermy as only the English could! Take your taste buds on a journey following the lecture with a variety of sweet and savory small bites from local chef Jessica Wilson, owner of Gather for Grace.

Tickets: $30 per person. 20% discount for museum members.
