About The Event
Come take a 45-minute guided garden tour to learn about the formal gardens from a different perspective. What do Chief Powhatan’s cloak, King Henry VIII, Mediterranean pirates, and the “Virginia Garden” all have in common? They are part of the story of the 20th century transformation of the gardens at Agecroft Hall.
Don’t forget comfortable shoes. This tour requires walking on grass, gravel paths, and stone walkways. The route has several stair steps.
Stay after the guided tour to explore other garden areas on your own or take a short hike on the Woodland Walk.
