Special Focus Tour: Wizards, Magic, and Potions

The Wizards, Magic, & Potions tour highlights items in our collection revealed in modern popular literature and movies. Come dressed as your favorite prep school wand-toting wizard, friendly witch, or other movie character.

While on tour, compete with other visitors to answer wizard trivia questions. Discover the magical creatures that dwell at Agecroft Hall. Learn about witchcraft and other dangers in Tudor England. People turned to wise women or healers instead of trained doctors.

Create a “healing wreath” from John Gerard’s Herballto take home.

Tour size is limited to a maximum of 10 people plus a tour guide for social distancing. This tour is for all ages. Participants must be able to climb a flight of stairs.
